Players Undergo Pre-Season Health Checkups with Near East Assurance!

As part of a sponsorship protocol signed between the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation (KTFF) and Near East University, players’ health checkups have begun at the fully equipped facilities of Near East University Hospital, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital, and Near East University Yeniboğaziçi Hospital.

As part of a sponsorship protocol signed between the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation (KTFF) and Near East University, players’ health checkups have begun at the fully equipped facilities and under the supervision of qualified medical staff of Near East University Hospital, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital, and Near East University Yeniboğaziçi Hospital .

Footballers from Çetinkaya TSK and Küçük Kaymaklı, competing in the AKSA Super League, completed their health checkups at Near East University Hospital in Nicosia, while players from Dumlupınar SK and Gençler Birliği underwent their health checkups at Near East University Yeniboğaziçi Hospital. Footballers from Lapta, Alsancak Yeşilova, and Esentepe completed their health checkups at Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital. Health screenings conducted with a modern healthcare infrastructure and by expert medical staff will also support players in improving their individual performance.

With the start of competitions in the AKSA Super League and AKSA First League, throughout the 2025-2026 football season, players and referees will continue to receive health checks, treatment of any injuries, and physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, all provided by the fully equipped infrastructure and competent medical staff of Near East University Hospital, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital, and Near East University Yeniboğaziçi Hospital.

KTFF President Hasan Sertoğlu commented on the health screenings that have begun, stating that the players have undergone rigorous screening and comprehensive testing. Sertoğlu stated that they have reached a healthcare agreement with Near East University, a partnership they have been pursuing for many years, and that he has full confidence that the collaboration between these two mighty institutions will ensure a flawless healthcare process. Sertoğlu emphasized that the clubs were also pleased with the agreement reached, saying, “Our clubs’ health checks began the day before yesterday. We are receiving positive feedback from them in this regard. Three of our clubs undergo rigorous health screenings daily at Near East University Hospital, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia University Hospital, and Near East University Yeniboğaziçi Hospital.”
