Özay Günsel Children's University Winter Term continues with educational, thought-provoking and entertaining workshops within the scope of the special curriculum prepared based on the playful education methods for children.

According to the information given by Özay Günsel Children's University, 4 October World Animal Day was held specifically by the students of the World and Galaxy-Universe Group. Cats and dogs were brought to the classroom and the importance of living in harmony with animals and people, and the protection and care of animals were emphasized among the students. Students were given a presentation titled “I'm not afraid of Street Animals" by the faculty members of Veterinary Faculty. In order to raise awareness about animals abandoned on the street, the objective of the activity was explained to the students and information was given about the street animals and their living conditions on the streets.

In the syllabus where each group had different educational activities, the students of the World group held the "Being a Child in Hospital" activity in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing. During the activity, the children learned what nurses were doing in a hospital, examined each other with stethoscopes and learned their life signs.

The students of Sun Group participated in the educational activity "What having a European tour by bus?" held in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and visited the Near East University campus by bus and found clues about the countries left on the campus. In the "Let our hands be our voice” training event, Assist. Prof. Dr. Emrah Soykan gave a sign language training and the Sun Group students learned words and simple dialogue sentences to ensure initial communication with hearing-impaired individuals.

Also, the Universe Group designed their own robots with lego sets and learned about the project cycle development in the training of "Artificial Intelligence Project 1". With the help of practical activities, students gained knowledge of artificial intelligence and algorithmic thinking skills.
