“Fine Arts June Exhibition” will bring together 50 works of art consisting of sculpture, ceramics, stained glass and prints exclusively made for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts by award-winning academic artists.
Organized by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts as part of the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day celebrations, the “Fine Arts June Exhibition” will meet with art lovers on Wednesday, 19 July at 16.30. The “Fine Arts June Exhibition ”, which will bring together 50 works exclusively made by the artist academics of the Near East University Fine Arts and Design Faculty and the artists of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, will be opened by President Ersin Tatar at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall. “Fine Arts June Exhibition” will bring together 50 works of art, sculpture, ceramics, stained glass and prints exclusively prepared for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts by award-winning academic artists.

The “June Exhibition”, which will be the last group exhibition of the 2022-2023 education period, is also the 446th exhibition of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. The “Fine Arts June Exhibition” will be open to visitors free of charge until 3 August.

The curator of the exhibition, Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Deputy Dean and GÜNSEL Art Museum Director Erdoğan Ergün, recalling the 49th anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation, in which the foundations of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus were laid, said, “We are more excited for organizing our Fine Arts June Exhibition within the framework of the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day events.”

Stating that the Fine Arts June Exhibition will also be the last group exhibition that brings together the works of the artist academicians of the Near East University Fine Arts and Design Faculty and the artists of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts in the 2022-2023 academic year, Prof. Dr. Ergün said, “Art lovers; We invite you to the opening of our Fine Arts June Exhibition, which has a rich variety of works and styles.”
