NeuIslanders completes Robotic Soccer World Cup First Day Matches

Near East University Robotic Soccer Team NeuIslanders got a win and a defeat in the opening matches of the Robotic Soccer World Cup (RoboCup) in Japan.

Facing the Iranian robotic soccer champion team Parsian for the first game of Group B, NEUIslanders lost the game 2-0.

They lost the game versus a champion…..

Parsian, the robotic soccer team of Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) is a contender team with Iran championships and it ranked the 5th place in RoboCup 2016. Parsian scored its first goal at the 8th minute of the first half. On the 5th minute of the second half, Parsian scored again and won the game by a net score of 2-0.

NEUIslanders defeated its Canadian rival....

For the second game of the tournament, NEUIslanders took the pitch versus ULtron, the robotic soccer team of Laval University-Canada, and defeated its rival 1-0.

On Thursday, 28 July 2017, NEUIslanders will face first with ZJUNlict, RoboCup champion team of Chinese Zhejiang University, and then with MCT Susano Logics from Japan National Technology University.
