NEU Scholarship Admission for Graduate Studies 2023-2024 Spring Semester

We are pleased to announce the start of the NEU Scholarship Admissions for Graduate Studies. This is an opportunity for all prospective Master’s and the PhD students.

Spring semester scholarship admission for graduate studies starts on the 25th of December, 2023 and ends on the 31st of January, 2024.

The results will be announced on the 8th of February at the latest.

The deadline for applications has been extended until 12 February 2024. The results will be announced on 20 February 2024 at the latest.

Required Documents for Master Application:

  1. Copy of undergraduate diploma & transcript
  2. Copy of passport
  3. Reference letters (if available)
  4. Application form
  5. English Proficiency Results/ Certificates/ Confirmation for English language as the medium of instruction (-if any)

Important Information Regarding Master Scholarships for International Students:

  • The scholarships do not cover foundation courses, English/ Turkish Preparatory school fees.
  • The scholarships are only valid for 2 years. Should the student exceed this duration, they are obliged to pay the necessary semester fees.
  • The scholarship applies for all Master programs instructed in English or Turkish languages.

Publication Scholarship

  • Masters and PhD students must fulfill their departmental obligations and meet graduation requirements to benefit from the 5% Publication scholarship.
  • The 5% Publication scholarship is applicable only for publications beyond the mandatory graduation requirements.
  • Students who publish additional articles beyond the mandatory ones in journals indexed by WOS or Scopus under Near East University affiliation, may apply for a 5% scholarship on their remaining payment for each article published.
  • The scholarship is divided by the number of authors from the Near East University excluding the student’s Thesis Advisor.

  7. CV and PhD Thesis proposal
