Nelli Bube’s SoloExhibition Consisting 30 Paintings  opened by Fikri Ataoğlu, Minister of Tourism and Environment

The painting exhibition of the Kazakh artist Nelli Bube were opened by Fikri Ataoğlu, Tourism Minister and Minister of Tourism and Environment.

According to the information provided by Near East University Press and Public Relations Department, at the opening ceremony of the exhibition at the Near East University Medical Faculty Exhibition Hall, Fikri Ataoğlu, Minister of Tourism and Environment, Founding Rector Dr. Suat İrfan Günsel and his wife Özay Günsel, vice-rectors, deans, institute directors, lecturers and visiting artists were present. At the opening of the exhibition, Vice Rector of Near East University Dr. Fahrettin Sadıkoğlu and Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu gave a speech.

Professor Dr. Sadıkoğlu:”The technniques unique to the artist used in his artworks…”
The opening speech of the exhibition was delivered by Vice Rector. Dr. Fahrettin Sadıkoğlu who emphasized that the artists is a model figure standing out with his unique artworks.

Professor Dr. Sadıkoğlu, said “The exhibition of Nelli Bube, one of the honorary artists of Kazakhstan, is a reflection of the spirit of an artist. Apart from painting, he is also interested in ceramic, mosaic and graphic fields. Bube has been in art since childhood and has proved to be a very talented figure in every field of art. Art is not only a means of exploring the world but also as a means of reflecting its own feelings and thoughts. His impressions and perceptions of the world worked through color and lines. The artist, who works with the theme of national history, reflects the events of his people living in different times. The technique he created in his works is his own. His works will be an integral part of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art ’.

Minister of Tourism and Environment Ataoğlu: “” We are proudly following the moves of the Near East University directing everything…”
Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu stated in his speech that the Near East University has done everything to promote the country before they have done it.

Minister Ataoglu: “Proudly we follow from a step back, not only the art and the artists, but the importance given to the country with the investments of the Near East family, and we need to thank the family. We all know how much important are the artists who are the mediators of many countries and Turkic Republics…”

Minister Ataoğlu stated that the artists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are among us and their works are exhibited in Near East University.Thanks to his contribution to the promotion of the country and the development of the cultural art with the Near East Family. Minister Fikri Ataoğlu stated that he was glad to witness to all these beautiful days.

Silver Key Award was presented…
Following the speeches, Minister of Tourism and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu and Vice Rector. Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Sadıkoğlu presented Silver Key Honor Award to Kazakhstan Artist Nelli Bube…

Nelli Bube: “Near East University, combining Asia with Europe and the Silk Road, combines the art of the Turkic States…”
Speaking after the award ceremony, Nelli Bube thanked and expressed his gratitude to Dr. Suat Günsel who provided him with the opportunity to open his solo exhibition. Stating that the exhibition belongs to the entire Turkish world, Bube said, “The history of the Turkish Rings begins in the Altai Mountains and the great steppes of Kazakhstan. Every people passing through this land left a part of their traditions and religion. This accumulation is the legacy of the world’s art and culture. The main subjects of the works are peace, cooperation, orientalist women and man figures intertwined with nature. I don’t have war scenes. There are similarities in the cultures of Turkish rings, but most importantly, friendship, brotherhood and cooperation stands out in our works. The Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, which will accommodate the art and culture of the Turkic world, is the first and only in the world. The Silk Road, which unites Asia and Europe, is now being rebuilt by the the Near East University as a bridge connecting the Turkic States with art. I wish my exhibition will leave a mark in the museum…”

Exhibition ribbon was cut…
Following the speeches, the exhibition ribbon was cut and the exhibition was opened. The exhibition, which includes the pictures with themes of history, culture and traditions of Kazakh nomads, will be open to visitors at the Faculty of Medicine Exhibition Hall between 8.30 and 16.00 on weekdays.
