The 2024 program of Near East University’s “General Occupational Health and Safety Specialization Training”, approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, starts on June 3. The training will last 200 hours, 152 hours of which are theoretical and 48 hours of which are practical. Throughout the course, the duties, powers, responsibilities, rights and obligations of employers and employees, health surveillance in workplaces, health and safety rules and occupational health and safety management and organization will be studied. Those who complete the training given in accordance with the “Regulation on Certification of Persons Providing Occupational Health and Safety Services and Authorization of Organizations” issued within the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Law will receive participation certificates.

Theoretical and practical training will be given under three headings…

Within the scope of the specialist training to be provided by the Near East University Lifelong Education Center; Basic theoretical and practical information about occupational health and safety will be given. The training program, which includes important topics such as creating healthy and safe working environments, preventing work accidents and occupational diseases, risk assessment, legal responsibilities, correct communication and behavioral techniques for adults, will be carried out by the expert training staff of Near East University using interactive training methods.
