Near East University will be represented in the technical committee of the 3rd International Conference on Building Materials and Construction (ICBMC 2018) which will be held during February 23-25, 2018 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 3rd International Conference on Building Materials and Construction aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Building Materials and Construction. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Building Materials and Construction.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, Associate Professor Zihni Turan, lecturer at NEU Faculty of Architecture, will take part in the technical committee of ICBMC 2018 as a representative of Near East University.

Many articles regarding Civil and Structural Engineering, Architecture and Urban Planning, Material Science and Engineering, Material Properties - Measurement Methods - Applications, and Material Production and Processing, as well as various aspects of Building Materials and Construction, will be presented via keynote speeches and plenary sessions. In this regard, ICBMC 2018 promotes scientific information interchange between researchers, research scholars, developers, engineers and practitioners.

All accepted papers will be published in IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering which is indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, Thomson Reuters Web of Science (WoS), and other international databases.
