The “TRNC Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam” organized by the Near East University for the 2021-2022 academic year was held. The exam was held in a single session on the Near East University campus and at the exam centers in Famagusta, Girne, Güzelyurt and İskele.

Students from Turkey, who completed the last four years of their education in the TRNC, also participated in the exam which TRNC citizens took to qualify for education and scholarship at the Near East University programs. Students who took the Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam were granted the right to choose and be placed among 225 undergraduate and associate degree programs in 20 faculties, 3 colleges and 2 vocational colleges within the body of Near East University. Students who took the exam were placed in one of the three departments they chose, depending on the exam result and the number of quotas.

Students who took the Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam held by Near East University can view their results at www.sonuc.neu.edu.tr. Students who are entitled to study with a scholarship at Near East University must register until July 2, 2021.

Students who will graduate or will graduate from colleges can also register to all departments of Near East University with GCE A’Level, GCE AS Level, IGCSE-GCSE O’Level, SAT, ACT, exam result documents within the framework of the quotas determined.

Stating that Near East University always support its students with the services and opportunities it provides to its students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tüzünkan said that while they prepare a fully equipped educational environment with their competent academic staff, they also provide all kinds of support so that their students can develop projects by conducting research in their own fields.
