
The congress, organized with the theme of “Empowering Tomorrow’s Pharmacists: Driving the Global Health Transformation”, was held with the aim of creating global awareness about the pharmacy profession, supporting professional development and strengthening the role of pharmacy in healthcare services. Representing students receiving pharmacy education in Northern Cyprus, Near East University Pharmacy Students Association of North Cyprus (NEUPSANC) President Tanaka Moses Nyabvure attended the congress.
Tanaka Moses Nyabvure, who also attended the General Assembly of the International Pharmacy Students Federation in South Korea, also shared the views of TRNC pharmacy students on issues related to the development of international collaborations in pharmacy education, student exchange programs and annual projects carried out within the IPSF.

Reminding that the student associations operating under the Near East University Dean of Students Office are full members of international student federations in their fields, Near East University Dean of Students Prof. Dr. Dudu Özkum Yavuz said, “These memberships also allow our pharmacy, medicine, dentistry and veterinary students to be represented internationally and gain experience in different countries through internships and exchange programs.”
Emphasizing that the Pharmacy Students Association of North Cyprus also has a say in the decisions of the International Pharmacy Students Federation (IPSF), Prof. Dr. Dudu Özkum Yavuz said, “Our NEUPSANC President Tanaka Moses Nyabvure’s representation of our students at the 69th IPSF World Congress is one of the important steps supporting the global vision of our university.”

Expressing his honor to represent Northern Cyprus and Near East University at the 69th IPSF World Congress held in South Korea, Tanaka Moses Nyabvure, President of the Pharmacy Students Association of North Cyprus (NEUPSANC), said, “At the congress, we had the opportunity to come together with pharmacy students from 54 countries and exchange ideas and experiences. This congress provided an important platform for developing new strategies that will shape the future of our profession and strengthen the role of pharmacists in global health transformation.”
