Students from the Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services of Near East University Faculty of Communication participated in the 29th International Beauty & Care Products and Equipment Fair 2018 that held in Istanbul.

According to the info released by the Directorate of Press & Public Relations Office of Near East University, the Coordinator of the Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services of Near East University Faculty of Communication, Expert Yeşim Üstün Aksoy and her students participated in the 29th International Beauty & Care Products and Equipment Fair 2018. The fair provided opportunity for students to get closely acquainted with sector professionals including cosmetic surgeons, medical doctors specialized in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, specialist medical aestheticians, plastic makeup artists, dermatologists and hairdressers. The fair was very fruitful for students as it provided platform for them to get information about the latest beauty and makeup trends across the globe as well the new and technological products that used in beauty and cosmetic sector.

Besides, the fair enabled students to improve their knowledge and experiences on a wide range of beauty and cosmetic practices including silk eyelash and eyelash lifting, thread facelift, acne and problematic skin care, beauty management, revolutionary anti-aging care, branding in social media, sale and marketing techniques.

Underlining their commitment to providing the highest quality education in compliance with global standards, the Coordinator of the Department of Hair Care and Beauty Services of Near East University Faculty of Communication, Expert Yeşim Üstün Aksoy stated that they participated in the Beauty and Care Fair in order to provide the students with opportunity to closely follow up the technological innovations related to the sector, learn about the latest beauty and cosmetic products and makeup trends as well as new generation high end methods such as Nano blading eyebrow design, Scar camouflage, Skin care with aqua facial, New technique in lip design with permanent makeup '' candy lips '', Silk eyelash and eyelash lifting, Revolutionary anti-aging care, and Sale-Marketing in beauty and cosmetic sector.

Highlighting that they would continue to exert effort towards ensuring ground for the future professional life of students, Aksoy stated that they would be in cooperation with Istanbul Beauty Experts' Chamber Chairperson Ayşe Aydın and the Management Consultant Barış Avcı for new projects aimed at improving the students' knowledge and experiences.
