Project advisor Ufuk Altunç emphasized that individuals in society are different, have different colors, skills, considerations, characteristics and needs, and that everyone living together and in harmony has the same rights and freedoms and that it is possible to respect these differences. Special Students first time experienced flower planting...
Within the scope of the event, the students of the Near East University were brought together with the special students (disabled students in need of special education) and responsible teachers from the Ministry of National Education, Nicosia Special Education and Labor Training Centre. During the event, a total of 72 special students from 4 to 18 years of age planted various flowers that they have not experienced before.

The project managers said that the pots were labeled so that each student could give their own name to the planted flower so that different students could develop responsibility for taking care of the flowers they have planted with their teachers.

Following the planting of flowers in the name of members of the Turkish Cypriot Orthopedic Association, the planted flowers were placed at the entrance of the association. In this respect, the members of the association who come to the center will also be motivated by the decoration of flowers in various colors.
