Founding Member of Near East University Experimental Health Sciences Research Centre and Scientific Research Unit Coordinator Prof. Dr. Seda Vatansever has been awarded the 1st Place Scientific Publication Performance Award; given annually by Celal Bayar University.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relatiosn of Near East University, as part of the award-incentive directive of the University on Health, Science and Social Studies, Prof. Dr. Seda Vatansever has been awarded the Health Sciences 1st Place Award for 2015. The award was given according to the publications made, citations, completed projects and book editing.

It was pointed out that Prof. Dr. Seda Vatansever was given this award due to her work on stem cell and clinical usage, cancer mechanisms, cell death and analyses, histological uses of different techniques, and infertility. Furthermore, during the years 2010-2016 she received a yearly performance award for each year, in 2014 she received a “Science Award” and in 2014 she also received the “Citation Award”.

In addition to being given as an incentive to encourage scientific research, the awards are given to increase the academic performances of the academic members working in universities and also increase the performances of postgraduate students. The Awards are given by Celal Bayar University each year and this year’s awards were presented subsequent to the opening ceremony of the 2016-2017 Academic Year.
