Participating in RoboCup 2019, which is held in Sydney Australia, Near East University Robotic Football Team defeted its third opponent, Canadian Team-University of British Columbia, with a score of 4-1, and with a total of three triumphs, it completed Group B matches as the leading team and it has reached quarter finals.

It was stated that the Near East University Robotic Football Team started the match with a high tempo and scored a goal within the first minutes of the match. Resultantly, the first half of the match ended with a score of 1-0. Later, during the second half of the match, Canadian Team-University of British Columbia played rather aggressively and scored a goal in the first few minutes of the second half. Subsequent to this, NEUIslanders got time out and changed its tactic to attack football approach and got control over the game one again. Only a minute after loosing a goal, Near East University Robotic Football Team scored a goal. However, the goal was found invalid by the referees. This did not stop the NEUIslanders as they continued to pressurise and scored a goal 30 seconds after the invalid goal, making the score 2-1.

Feeling much better about leading the game, the Near East university robotic Football Team scored another goal via a penalty, making the score 3-1. Although their opponent tried to make a comeback, Near East University Robotic Football Team did not allow this and scored its final goal 11 seconds before the end of the match, taking the score to 4-1.

Thus, with this triumph, Near East University Robotic Football Team completed Group B as the leading team which has a total of three triumphs. This has shifted the team into the quarter finals.
