In the research conducted by a group of scientists from Near East University using Fuzzy PROMETHEE, which is one of the most effective methods of Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques, Plasma Treatment was determined as to be the most preferred treatment method among the alternative treatment methods used for the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) causing severe acute respiratory syndrome.

In this research, the current treatment alternatives for Covid-19 have been analyzed by using Fuzzy PROMETHEE, which is one of the most effective method Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques, and the reliability of the outcomes was processed through VIKOR method, another important analysis method. These techniques are mathematically based on the evaluation and comparison of all criteria to determine the most appropriate alternative among the available options. In the research, all existing treatment methods used in the treatment of COVID-19 were evaluated.

Many criteria used...
Regarding the evaluations, the methods used by the experts in the treatment of COVID-19 criteria such as the side effects of methods, cost of methods, number of tablets used in treatment, dose frequency, duration of treatment, plasma stability, age, pregnancy, GFR, intravenous form, oral form, inefficient drug combination, plasma turnover, practicality, drug-drug interaction, compatibility, fever, pneumonia, intensive care, organ failure, macrophage activation syndrome, hemophagocytic syndrome, etc. criteria were used.

Plasma Treatment among effective treatment methods...
According to the statement made by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, in the research conducted by Specialist. Dr. Figen Sarıgül, Prof. Dr. Murat Sayan, Dr. Berna Uzun, Assist. Prof. Dr. İlker Özşahin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilber Uzun Özşahin and Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, plasma treatment was shown to be one of the alternatives to be preferred in COVID-19 disease. The results of the research were sent to a scientific journal to be shared with the scientific world.
