Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nur Köprülü, Vice Director of Near East Institute and lecturer of Department of International Relations, made a presentation on the Syrian immigrants at the 13. conference held by the Italian Society for Middle Eastern Studies at the Katanya University.

According to a press statement released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nur Köprülü made a presentation titled "Regional and Global Reflections of Immigrant Crises in Mediterranean" at the conference which was organized in line with the theme of "Immigration, Borders and Immigrants" and included 43 panels took place.
