The mathematics posters prepared by the Near East University Primary School Teaching students for primary school education within the scope of the “mathematics teaching” course were donated to Dr. Suat Günsel Nicosia State Primary School as a gift.

The aim of the “Mathematics Poster Project in Primary School”, which is aimed at facilitating mathematics learning and helping to increase memorability, aims to increase the success rate of both teachers and students.

Students who gifted their studies to Dr. Suat Günsel Nicosia State Primary School said that they were very happy that the posters they prepared within the scope of the lesson will be used as teaching materials by primary school students.

Near East University faculty member who took part in the execution of the project, Prof. Dr. Murat Tezer, stated that with this study, they aimed to increase the mathematics achievement of primary school students and said that new education and training theories were used in the project. Noting that primary school students will feel like scientists and researchers while working on these projects, Prof. Dr. Murat Tezer also stated that students will acquire the ability to solve real-life problems using mathematics.

Dr. Suat Günsel Nicosia State Primary School Director Selim Özmenek stated that they always prioritize success in their school and that they are very happy with this meaningful contribution of teacher candidates to their schools.
