Due to the new type of coronavirus, Near East University, which completed the spring semester of 2019-2020 academic year with a decision to interrupt the education taken by YOK, YODAK, TRNC Ministry of National Education and Culture and the TRNC Council of Ministers, will organize a distance / online graduation ceremony for the Spring Term Graduates.

According to the information given by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the Near East University, it was stated that the faculty graduation ceremonies will be held online for the graduates who successfully completed the Spring Semester between 17 June and 29 July.

Following the welcome message at the ceremonies that will take the form of live broadcasts on Youtube, reading of the National Anthem, the messages of the university rector, the deans of the faculty and the top students of the faculty will be presented. At the graduation ceremony that will be held on Google Meet, the names of the graduate students will be voiced and their messages will be presented.

Representational diplomas will be presented at the graduation ceremony, where the graduate students will also be shown with their country flags and memoirs. Online graduation ceremony closing will be ended with a cap throw animation.

Graduation Ceremonies of all Faculties will be held at Ataturk Stadium on a date to be announced in July, taking into account the social distance conditions.
