Near East University Lifelong Education Centre is running 19 Short-Term Certificate Programs in the field of Engineering

Near East University Lifelong Education Centre and Near East University Faculty of Engineering are jointly organising 19 short-term certificate programs which will be running in the 2017-2018 Academic Year. The programs are designed for current engineers, who are actively working in the field, and for students who will be engineers in the future. The programs will be run by the academic staff of the Near East University.

According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, the 19 short-term certificate programs, jointly organised by the Near East University Lifelong Education Centre and Near East University Faculty of Engineering, will be on the following topics: 5G Mobile Wireless Concept and Technologies; Computer Algorithms and Systems for Driver Support of intelligent devices; General conditions required for efficiency of experiment and calibration laboratories; Sun, wind and geothermal energy; Improving documents; Documentation and internal Technique; Visual basic; Reinforced concrete design; Computer Networking and Data Communications; usage of rapid water heaters; Lasers; Robotics in education; Matlab Introduction to Programming; Environmental Biotechnology; Eight bit Intel Microprocessors and Environmental elements; Renewable energy systems; Data analysis with SSPS; The Role Of Chemical Interactions Within Cementitious Materials On Concrete Performance; Green Engineering; and similar disciplines. The programs which will be running throughout the 2017-2018 Academic Year will be commencing in September, 2017 and will be realised on Near East university Campus.

Making a statement on the matter, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umut Koldaş, has expressed taht the short terms are designed in such a way that they will improve and add to the personal and professional development of engineers.

Chairman of the Near East University Lifelong Education Centre Assoc Prof Dr Umut Koldas asserted that in the era we are living in, everything develops and changes quickly, especially technology. This being the case, the engineers are currently in need of programs to update and renew their knowledge in accordance with contemporary developments. In this regard, he added that the 19nshort-term certificate programs were designed in such a way that they will meet the engineers needs and help improve their personal and professional development.
