Near East University leaves its mark with stupendous protocols of cooperation signed in Kyrgyztan

Academic and cultural cooperation protocols signed between the Near East University and universities at 6th Ordinary Meeting of General Assembly of Caucasus Universities Union held in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyztan.

According to a press info released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the Near East University, following the General Assembly Meeting of Caucasus Universities Union, comprehensive academic and cultural cooperation protocols were signed between the Near East University, Nicosia, and rectors of universities from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, Ukraine and Kyrgyztan.

Dr. Suat İ. Günsel, Founding Rector of Near East University, signed academic cooperation protocols with rectors of Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (Prof. Dr. Durmuş Deveci), Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University (Prof. Dr. İrfan Aslan), Erzincan University (Prof. Dr. İlyas Çapoğlu), Erzurum Technical University (Prof. Dr. Muammer Yaylalı), Bartın University (Prof. Dr. Ramazan Kaplan), Sinop University, Tunceli University (Prof. Dr. Ubeyde İpek), Bayburt University (Prof. Dr. Selçuk Çoşkun), Kastamonu University (Prof. Dr. Seyit Aydın), Uşak University (Prof. Dr. Sait Çelik), Kilis 7 December University, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (Prof. Dr. Mansur Harmandar), Siirt University (Prof. Dr. Murat Erman) Ordu University (Dr. Tarık Yarılgaç), İzmir Katip Çelebi University (Prof. Dr. Galip Akhan), Mustafa Kemal University, Başkent University (Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal), International Islamic Azad University (Iran), Unıversıty Of Charkh-I Nılofarı (İran), Ardabil University Of Medical Sciences , Islamıc Azad Unıversıty Of Marand, University Of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Niğde University (Prof. Dr. Adnan Görür), Moheg Education (Iran), Unıversity Of Applied Sciences And Technology (Prof. Dr. Mohammad Akhbari)), Azerbaijan State Aqrar University (Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ceferov), and Research And Applied Institute (Iran), and Melitopol State Pedagogical University (Prof. Dr. Valentin Molodychenko).

Dr. Suat İ. Günsel; "Material shrinks as it torns, knowledge reproduces as it torns. These protocols will provide great benefits to our region, the Caucasus region".

Dr. Suat. İ. Günsel, following the cooperation protocol ceremony, delivered a speech to rectors and said, "With these academic cooperation protocols, we have further developed the cooperation so far existing within the scope of Caucasia Universities Union, and these protocols, which has special importance in our relations, will now greatly contribute to sharing of knowledge, development of joint projects and other relevant events that will be held in both our region and in Caucasia. The material shrinks as it torns, but the knowledge reproduces. I consider these protocols to this phonemenon. In this respect, these projects will spread out and lead to development of joint projects between the universities, conducting research and coming up with publications as well as student and staff Exchange.

At the ceremony, Dr. Suat İ. Günsel, university rectors, NEU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fahreddin Sadıkoğlu and Mr. Hüseyin Turan, Director of NEU Press and Public Relations Directorate were present.
