Near East University is among the top 10 in education quality in the world!

In the “2022 World Universities Impact Ranking” published by London-based Times Higher Education (THE), Near East University ranked 7th in the “Quality of Education” and enlisted among the top 10 worldwide.

Near East University ranks 7th in the “Quality Education” category in the “World Universities Impact Ranking” announced every year by the London-based international rating agency Times Higher Education (THE), and is among the top 10 in the world in this field. Near East University was in the 30th place in the same list last year. Near East University, which has risen up 23 levels in the category of education quality this year, ranked first among Turkish and Cyprus universities in this field.

Research shows the effectiveness of universities in the social and economic field
In the investigation, through which Times Higher Education measured the effects of universities around the world in the social and economic field in line with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), subjects such as “Health and Welfare”, “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”, “Education Quality”, “Gender Equality”, “Good Jobs and Economic Growth”, “Industry”, “Innovation and Infrastructure”, “Reduced Inequalities”, “Sustainable Cities and Societies”, “Responsible Consumption and Production”, “Climate Studies” , and “Partnerships for Goals” are included.

There are many criteria in the World Universities Impact Ranking list, which Times Higher Education ranks universities around the world by analyzing their contributions to the realization of these goals. The London-based international rating agency aims to encourage universities around the world to contribute to a better life with its ranking.

In the list of the world’s best scientists and universities published by AD Scientific Index at the beginning of April, Near East University ranked 552nd among 15,175 universities in the world. Reminding that NEU ranked 230th among 3,126 universities in Europe, Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “Our ranking among the top 10 universities in the world by rising 23 levels in the field of education quality in the World Universities Impact Ranking announced by Times Higher Education, our scientific productivity, our embodied projects and our artistic production show that we are doing the right things to create social benefit.
