Near East University Hospital became the health sponsor of the Foundations Wheelchair Basketball Team affiliated with the Sports Federation for the Disabled.

Providing world-class diagnosis and treatment services to domestic and international patients in our country, the Near East University Hospital, due to its social responsibility awareness, assumed the health sponsorship of the Foundations Wheelchair Basketball Team, which competes in both Turkish and international leagues in the 2020-2021 season.

Hearts are of one heart!
Vakıflar Wheelchair Basketball Team is preparing to represent the TRNC in the “Euro Cup 2” finals, which will be held in Sassari, Italy and organized by the European Wheelchair Basketball Federation IWBF between 22-24 April. As part of the preparations, all team players underwent medical screening at the Near East University Hospital.

In the cup, which will be hosted by Italy, 23 teams from 9 countries will compete in 3 different groups. Foundations will face off against rivals from Italy, Poland, France and Spain in the tournament.

Stating that they support the team in all circumstances with the slogan “Hearts Are Of One Heart!”, Near East University Hospital officials wished success to the Foundations Wheelchair Basketball Team, which will represent our country in the international arena.
