According to the press info release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University (NEU), attending a summer course on Clinical Pharmacology in the Faculty of Pharmacy of University of South Caroline (USC), Academic Member of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Near East University, Dr. Mehmet İlker Gelişen, gave a presentation at the International Pharmacy Regulations Centre regarding the “Challenges if International Pharmacovigilance” and successfully represented the NEU.

It was further stated that Dr İlker Gelişen had previously received an education and training on Pharmacovigilance (Drug Safety) at the Institute of Turkish Pharmacy and Medical Device and during the years he worked in the pharmacology industry, he had also taken multi-national drug safety training. Moreover, he is also a member of the Managing Board of Pharmacovigilance Association.
