Near East University, Faculty of Pharmacy has been successfully represented at the World Congress organized by the International Pharmacists’ Organization (FIB) in the capital of South Korea, Seoul

The Near East University School of Pharmacy, which is a member of the ACPE (Accreditation Association for Pharmacy Education), was successfully represented at the 77th FIB World Congress held in Seoul with 2603 participants from 94 countries, in the capital of South Korea.

According to the press information given by the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, the joint research titled "The Approach of TRNC Pharmacists to Children with Fictional Pneumonia" and conducted by the Turkish Cypriot Pharmacists' Association and Near East University under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilgen Başkut, the Head of Clinical Pharmacy Department of the Faculty of Pharmacy, were presented at the 77th FIB World Congress.

The research team involving Near East University Faculty of Pharmacy Teaching Staff, Dr. Laika Gökçekuş, Pharmacist Abdikarim Abdi, Specialist Pharmacist. Dr. Sarah Khamis and Specialist Pharmacist Onur Gültekin's took part in the research team of the Turkish Cypriot Pharmacists Association which represented TRNC and NEU in South Korea. The research results was successfully presented by the pharmacist Laika Gökçekuş at the FIB World Congress.
