Near East University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Graduation ceremony for Spring Semester 2017-2018 was held in the Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University.

According to the statement made by Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate; deputy Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the Near East University, Erdal Aygenç, department heads, teachers and parents participated at the ceremony.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. AYGENÇ; "Only few people are trained in Art and Design fields"
Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the Near East University, Erdal Aygenç, who made the opening speech, said "Our graduate count is far less than our number of teachers. We seem to be a small faculty, but we are a large faculty in effect. Having only 6 graduates means that only a few people are trained in the field of art and design. Hundreds of people do not graduate from this department, only a few do. This is inherent in the art".

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aygenç addressed the students, "With graduation you are entering a new era of life. You have completed your education, and your experience in art and design will continue after graduation from now on. This is a very long and caring way, not a process that will end in 4 years. We shall see together where your next effort will take you in the field of art and design. I hope you all have a good way. We are proud of your accomplishments. You do not break your ties with the faculty after graduation. We are ready to support you in all troubles you might encounter in the field of art and design. I congratulate you all. May God speed you way."

The ceremony ended with the presentation of diplomas and throwing hats into the air.
