Near East University Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture implemented in English, Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Departments were accredited by the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

The ARCON accreditation of the Faculty of Architecture's undergraduate and graduate programs means that Nigerian students can start their profession directly in Nigeria after completing their education. With the accreditation agreement, graduates of the Faculty of Architecture of Near East University will be able to work as architects, interior architects and landscape architects in Nigeria and establish a company without any additional exams.

Making a statement regarding the accreditation of the departments of the Faculty of Architecture, Near East University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt said that the ARCON Board of Directors made this decision by making evaluations on the education and research activities of the Faculty of Architecture of Near East University. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt said, “As a result of the evaluations carried out, the departments of architecture, interior architecture, landscape architecture within our university were deemed suitable for accreditation by the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) at undergraduate and graduate levels.
