Head of Department of Sports Medicine of the Near East University Hospital and Deputy Dean of Faculty of Sports Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ulaş H. Yavuz carried out medical services as the doctor of the Turkey Women's Basketball National A Team at the preparation training camp.

Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate released a press info stating that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ulaş H. Yavuz carried out medical services as the doctor of the Turkey Women's Basketball National A Team which is carrying out preparation trainings in Istanbul and Canada and will participate in the 2018 Women's Basketball World Cup which will be held in Spain.

Basket's Fairies who made two preparatory matches with Canadian National Team in Canada, also played with the Chinese national team in Istanbul. Women's Basketball National Team will continue preparation trainings to participate in the Women's Basketball World Cup in Slovenia in August.
