Completion project studies of Biomedical Engineering students of Faculty of Engineering, Near East University, were much admired.

According a press statement released by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, students of Biomedical Engineering Department, who designed a 3D printer and successfully took out the prints of the bimedically designed objects, pointed out that the cost of the printer they designed is much more cheaper than the similar ones sold in market. Students also said that they are very proud to complete the project with quality education, support and motivation provided by the Biomedical Engineering Department.

The other important project, "prosthetic hand", was designed through the use of 3D printer, the Arduino system and EMG signals (muscle movement sensor) were used, and movements of prosthesis hand and fingers were implemented.
