Near East University Atatürk Education Faculty 2017 - 2018 Spring Fall Graduation Ceremony was held at the Grand Library in Hall 4.

According to the statement made by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, Fahrettin Sadıkoğlu, Vice Rector of Near East University, Vice Rector of Kyrenia University, Professor Dr. Gökmen Dagli,Dean of Atatürk Education Faculty, Professor. Dr. Hüseyin Uzunboylu, Institute Directors, Faculty Deans, Faculty Members, Students and Families participated.

The ceremony started with the reading of the National Anthem and one minute's silence for the martyrs. Then, the ceremony continued with the music feast of İlayda Melikova and singing Instructor Sofrano Vasfiye Çakıstaş from the Music Teaching Department.

Professor Dr. Uzunboylu; "Students in Near East College, Near East Primary School and Near East Preschool can get privileged chances in their practices."

Near East University Atatürk Education Faculty Dean Professor. Dr. Hüseyin Uzunboylu, who delivered the opening speech said "Today we are all excited. Today we are all happy. Today we are all here to be better tomorrow. "

Professor Dr. Uzunboylu; "As the Near East University Ataturk Education Faculty, we do our best to ensure that our students fulfill their duties in the best way after graduation, we work with dedication and especially continue to share our new knowledge with our students. Especially, we are trying to create their application possibilities so that our students can achieve to the best. At this point, our students in the Near East College, Near East Primary School and Near East School Preschool, which are all located in our university, have a privileged opportunity to practice their theoretical gains. This is a sign that we pay particular attention to application and practice".

Professor Dr. Uzunboylu; "They produced and published 281 articles in 2017."

"Today we live a very different graduation ceremony. 17 graduates, 20 Ph.D. and 18 master degree students graduate today. As you know, most universities pay special attention to post-graduate education especially in the 21st century. We have achieved this success together with the Institute of Educational Sciences of the Near East University". Dr. Uzunboylu, "In addition, Near East University Atatürk Faculty of Education Faculty members produced and published 281 articles in 2017. This is a great success for the Atatürk Education Faculty. We submitted 5 articles per faculty member. This is our difference as the Near East University. "

Professor Dr. Uzunboyle expressed his thanks to Dr. Suat İ.Günsel, Founding Rector of Near East University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. İrfan S. Günsel, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and wished all the success to graduated students...

Dr. Korkmaz; "Near East is not just a home of education, but also a health, information and family Home."

Ph.D graduate Selma Korkmaz delivered a speech on behalf of the doctoral students and graduate students and said "First of all, you all are welcome to the Near East University Atatürk Education Faculty 2017-2018 Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony, of which the sole aim is to train individuals who will shed light on the preliminary purposes of the future. Today we are gathered up here to share our graduation pleasure. I am honored to be present at this ceremony and to have the opportunity to deliver this speech to you at the moment. "

Following speech of Dr. Korkmaz, Ahmet Akbuz, the top student of the Atatürk Education Faculty delivered a speech to the participants.

Vice Rector Professor Dr. Sadıkoğlu; "Luck depends on what you will do when you have an opportunity."

Afterwards, Vice Rector of the Near East University, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Sadikoglu delivered a speech saying; "The number of graduates of the postgraduate programs is twice the number of graduates of the undergraduate programs. I'm happy for that. I am the teacher of the first MA graduate student of this school and today I have seen so many graduate and doctoral graduates in this university and it is my privilage and honor to hear that so many publications have been made so far. You are closing a page of your life today. The education you have received during the four years has provided you with the beginning of a new life. You will never forget the four years you spent in Cyprus. I remembered my own graduation at every graduation ceremony I have participated up to today. I have two recommendations to you. Life is like a story. What matters is not how long you live it, not how long it is, but how well you live it. The second is 'Chance depends on what you will do when the opportunity comes up'. It's not about how well you use your chances, but about how accurately you evaluate and use it accordingly"

Prof. Sadıkoğlu, who delivered a speech for the families said "You entrusted your children to us four years ago. Everything you did for them is beyond every appreciation. However, our instructors trained your children and equipped them with qualifications. We are happy today we give your children back to you as a new and well qualified individual."

The ceremony ended with the introduction of diplomas and the traditional kep ceremony.
