Near East University “Art at Home Digital Photography Exhibition” opened

Near East University, Faculty of Communication faculty members and students organized a Digital Photography Exhibition under the title "There is Art at Home".

According to the information given by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, the exhibition organized through the official website of the Faculty of Communication and its Facebook page was created with the theme of "Hobby". The photographs taken by students, deans and lecturers will take place at the exhibitions, which will be created with a different theme each week. Our people will be able to participate in the exhibition with the photos they take at home.

Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Head of the Radio-TV and Cinema Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap said that the aim of creating the exhibition was to initiate a more creative use of the time we spent at home due to the Covid-19 outbreak, as well as creating the ground for students and faculty members to produce art together in this troubled period.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kasap stated that they plan to record the process in the form of visual memory and assist the digital exhibition. Assoc. Prof. Kasap stated that they have prepared the exhibition together Assist. Prof. Dr. Çağdaş Öğüç, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Dolunay and Research Assistant Fuat Boğaç.

Stating that students, deans and lecturers at all levels can participate in the exhibition, the public can also participate in the exhibition with the photographs they take at home. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap noted that the photographs taken during the Covid-19 process, which is requested to take part in the exhibition, should be sent to İ[email protected].
