Near East University Academician to take part in an International Jury in China

Acting Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç, has been invited as a jury in the Expert Council of an International Modern Art and Design Fair to be held in Beijing, China.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, as part of the International Contemporary Arts Week to be held in Beijing, China, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç was invited as a member of a Expert Council of the International Modern Art and Design Fair to which many specialists and artists from different countries are expected to attend and participate as members of jury. Furthermore, according to the details provided, as it is the case every year, competitions will be held in two categories, as design and art, and thousands of professional artists and designers are to participate in these competitions.

Sharing his thoughts and feelings regarding the matter, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç proudly stated that he was very happy to be representing the Near East University among esteemed specialist instructors and artists from many different countries who act as members of jury each year. Moreover, he stated that as part of the International Contemporary Arts Week, significant contributions are expected to be made to the fields of art, sculpture, graphic design, and photography; alongside finding the opportunity to discover new talents and promote new talents to participate. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç added that as well as the significance of being part of a highly prestigious international event, he was rather honoured as he will be representing the Near East University; alongside representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
