Near East Enterprises will provide 1 million liras in cash to contribute to the healing of the earthquake disaster in Turkey

After the earthquake disaster in Turkey, all of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus came together to heal the wounds. In addition to the blood donation and winter clothing aid campaign it started yesterday, Near East Enterprises announced that 1 million liras of cash will be donated to support the citizens affected by the earthquake disaster.

Great interest in blood donation and winter clothing campaign
The first donation in the blood donation campaign launched by Near East Enterprises yesterday was made by the Founding Rector of Near East University, Dr. Suat İrfan Günsel, and Günsel said, “Get well soon, my Turkey! We are with you with our blood and soul.” Those who want to contribute to the campaign at the Near East University Hospital, Dr. Suat Günsel University of Kyrenia Hospital and Near East University Yeniboğaziçi Hospital created a great crowd, hospitals are still receiving blood donations.

In addition to the blood donation campaign, the winter clothes and blanket aid campaign will also continue at Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center. Citizens who want to contribute to the campaign will be able to donate winter clothes and blankets between 08:00 and 20:00.

Expressing their sadness over the earthquake disaster in their homeland Turkey, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Near East Enterprises Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “We are following the consequences of the earthquakes in our homeland Turkey with great sadness. As Turkish Cypriots, in these difficult days, we stand by our motherland with our blood, our souls and all our means.”

Stating that the people of Northern Cyprus showed great interest in the blood donation and winter clothing campaign they organized, Prof. Dr. Günsel said, “The day is the day to heal the wounds with one heart. As the Turkish Cypriot people, we stand by our homeland.”
