
Near East Athletes’ proud success in the “15 November Republic Road Run” realized in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and Culture and the Athletics Federation!
The “15 November Republic Road Run” realized in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and the Athletics Federation within the scope of the 41st Anniversary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was held with great excitement.
Primary, secondary and high school athletes who competed in the “Juniors”, “Stars” and “Youth” categories among girls and boys school teams across the island showed up their talents in an exciting competition. The competition, organized to increase young people’s interest in sports, was also an event that strengthened national feelings.
Near East Primary School and Near East College athletes achieved significant success in the competition that saw intense participation. In the competition, Near East Primary School Boys Team and Near East College Girls Team won first places. The Near East Primary School girls team came in second, standing out among their competitors.
Doğan Veysioglu won first place in the individual category
In the individual category, Near East Primary School student Doğan Veysioglu came first with his stamina and perseverance in the ‘1000 Meter Male’s Category’. This success of Doğgan Veysioglu revealed his determination and once again revealed the successes of Near East Primary School in the field of sports.
