Two solo exhibitions consisting of 50 artworks of Azat Myradov and Myratgeldiyev, two artists from Turkmenistan, will be opened by the Minister of National Education and Culture Nazım Çavuşoğlu.

According to the information provided by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the Near East University, the opening of two separate solo exhibition will take place on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 09.00 at the Atatürk Culture and Congress Center of the Near East University.

The exhibition will feature themes of war and landscapes related to history.

Azat Myradov was born in 1979 in Turkmenistan. From 1994 to 1998, he worked at the Art School in Mary city. Between the years 1994-2004, he studied at the Art Academy of Painters. He has been a participant in many regional and international exhibitions and has been teaching at the Turkmenistan Art Academy since 2013. Azat Myradov's works depict the themes of war in history. There are also his paintings about legends.

Myratgeldi Gurbangeldiyev was born in 1981 in the city of Mary in Turkmenistan. Between the years 1998 - 2004, he studied at the Academy of Arts. In 2004, he participated in a group exhibition of Turkmen artists in London. He is a member of the Union of Painters of Turkmenistan and has been participating in various exhibitions in Turkmenistan since 2004. Myratgeldy Gurbangeldiyev's works reflect the theme of landscape.
