The delegation consisting of Vice-Rector for Near East Primary and Secondary Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan, Head of Near East Secondary Education Asım İdris, Head of Near East Primary Education Ertan Aligüllü, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College Principal Sermin Mine Haydar and Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia Primary School Director İzzet Yılmaz visited Tatlısı Mayor Hayri Orcan and gave information about educational activities to be given by the Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College.

Hayri Orcan: "An important investment that should be highly appreciated..."
Expressing that the investments made by Near East in education and health should be appreciated, Mayor of Tatlısu Hayri Orcan said that the investments made in the field of education are the most efficient investments.

Mayor Orcan stated that Near East cares about taking education to every part of the country with its determination on the basis of equal opportunities in education and said that these investments will bring the quality of the country's education to a new level. Orcan said, "Evaluating the factors underlying the success achieved in education by Near East, where a broad-based curriculum that attaches importance to foreign languages, humanities and science and technical skills is applied, and integrating it into the country's education would be a useful method in revealing the potential of our children."

Saying that the Günsel Family plays a pioneering role in the development of art activities in the country with the museums established, Hayri Orcan mentioned that they have projects related to art and museums as the municipality. Tatlısu Mayor Orcan said, "Bringing the Near East College, which supports art education with other scientific disciplines, to the region will add beauty and cultural value to the region."

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan: "We will take the qualified education of the Near East to the children of Girne."
Vice-Rector for Near East Primary and Secondary Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan in his speech emphasized that Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College's language education, social and physical equipment and competent teachers experienced in their fields will make a difference in the Kyrenia Region and in the lives of children from Kyrenia.

Stating that both the Kyrenia region will revitalize and employment opportunities will be created, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tüzünkan said, "We are delighted to take the qualified education of Near East to the children of Kyrenia and to lead in the investments to be made in the Kyrenia region."

Asım İdris: "We are taking our student-centered education approach to Kyrenia..."
Head of Near East Secondary Education Asım İdris also mentioned about the student-centered education approach of Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College. Explaining that German and French will also be offered as the second foreign language option at the college, where Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel curriculum will be applied, Asımn İdris said, “In accordance with student levels, we will raise our children as versatile individuals who are beneficial to the society they live in by conducting one-to-one studies, school reinforcement studies, IGCSE and GCE exam preparations, as well as sports, social and cultural activities."

Ertan Aligüllü: "Foreign language education starts from the basics..."
Near East Primary Education Director Ertan Aligüllü emphasized that they started foreign language education from the ground up. Reminding that Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia College will start education in Kindergarten and Preschool units in February 2021, Aligüllü said that they will give each student in-depth knowledge of at least one art and one sports field as well as providing students with workshops in bilingual education consisting of English and French, and ensure art, science and music education, too.
