Near East University Vocational School Hair Care and Beauty Services Department launched a meaningful social responsibility project in cooperation with the Elderly Rights and Mental Health Association, Nicosia, for the 18-24 March Elderly Week.

Near East University Vocational School Hair Care and Beauty Services Department lecturers and students attended the event, where hair and beauty applications were carried out for women in Nicosia Altın Kalpler nursing home.

Prof. Dr. Yeşim Üstün Aksoy stated that they are honored to be involved in such a meaningful project and expressed their satisfaction in caring for our elderly people on this special day. Assist. Prof. Dr. Aksoy said, “Old age has different meanings for everyone, for people of all ages. They shed light on the past and enlighten us with their experiences. It is our duty to respect our elders and to strive not to break their relationship with life.”
