Little Fish on exploration!
The summer program launched with the slogan “Little Fish Swim!” at the Near East University Olympic Swimming Pool allows children to spend their summer months productively, while offering children of all ages a fun swimming experience in a safe and modern environment throughout the summer. Thanks to the program organized in the only Olympic indoor swimming pool in Northern Cyprus, students gain basic swimming skills with expert instructors, while contributing to their physical and social development. Children gain self-confidence, develop important skills such as coordination and endurance, and are supported to acquire healthy living habits with swimming training.
The little ones, who learn to swim with expert instructors at the Near East University Olympic Swimming Pool, also enrich their imagination by visiting the Cyprus Car Museum and the Herbarium and Natural History Museum. The students’ first stop during their museum visit was the Herbarium and Natural History Museum. Students, who examined 11 thousand different plant samples, mushroom varieties, insect species, various reptiles, marine creatures, fossils and rocks, had the opportunity to discover the natural history of Cyprus under one roof.
Students, who also visited the Cyprus Car Museum, which is among the few museums in the world and has a rich collection of classic cars, had the chance to see many cars and toy collections they admire up close. In addition to cars, the students, who are also interested in toys made from various machine parts, took many photos with Batman and Transformers figures.
