Minister Dr. Faiz Sucuoğlu in his speech; " In the book titled "Crazy Turks" depicting the Turkish war of liberation, there was a struggle for liberation through which miracles were created from impossibility, distress or forcing the conditions. Let me call you the Crazy Turkish Cypriots because you have done the impossible in art, you are establishing a museum with the most qualified artists of the world. In the case of Cyprus, the world is here because of the hydrocarbon richness in the Eastern Mediterranean, apart from this, it is a great pleasure to be here with you and talk about art. Talking about art, being with artists, seeing the paintings they have made creates a different world. Suat Hoca, our teacher obviously discovered this world, so intense work continues.”

"We are very proud of your consecutive success..."
"As mentioned earlier, one or two exhibitions are opened annually in Istanbul. Here, there are at least two to three exhibitions a week, exhibitions very rich in content. This actually shows a difference of Near East University for me. Once a goal has been set, these are the steps taken to achieve that goal. We have seen this before in healthcare, in the Faculty of Medicine. We see that the car factory is about to be finished, we see the mosque, we see the museums, we see the university, so this is a privilege and frankly we see that you have created this privilege and I see it as a wealth in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. In spite of the troubles, there is a flower that grows really fast. Thus, we are very proud of this success. I hope that it will continue in this way and in this intensity in 2020, too. The steps you have taken in the art of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are much appreciated. I wish these will continue to increase and your success will continue at the highest level."
