“Kazakhstan Artists Painting Exhibition” opened by Ersin Tatar, President of the National Unity Party

The "Kazakhstan Artists Painting Exhibition" consisting of 30 artworks exclusively created for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts was opened by Ersin Tatar, the leader of the National Unity Party.

According to the Near East University Press and Public Relations Directorate, the opening ceremony of the exhibition was held at the Near East University Faculty of Medicine Exhibition Hall, and the National Unity Party Chairman Ersin Tatar, Kyrenia University Founding Rector Cemre Günsel Haskasap, Özay Günsel Children's University Board of Trustees President Anna Günsel, Deputy Secretary General of the National Unity Party, Ahmet Savaşan, Cardiologist Assist. Prof. Dr. Hatice Kemal Günsel, vice rectors, deans, faculty members, artists and guests attended to the opening ceremony.

At the opening of the exhibition, Dinara Nuger on behalf of the Kazakh artists and Ersin Tatar, the President of the National Unity Party, gave a speech.

“We are happy to work on a beautiful campus as Kazakhstan's painters...“
Dinara Nuger, who made the opening speech of the exhibition, stated that they are happy to take part in the exhibition as Kazakhstan artists.

Commenting on the artists in the exhibition, Nuger said: "We come from different cities of Kazakhstan. Ainabek Ospanov is the honorary artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan and since 2015 he has been the director of the Turkistan Fine Arts Museum in Northern Kazakhstan. Since 1989 he has been a member and chairman of the Union of Kazakh Artists. Adilgal Bayandın participated in numerous symposiums and exhibitions during his art life, which he started in 1992. He organized over one thousand mastery workshops in Kazakhstan and abroad. Anara Aubakirova is the curator of different art projects. Aubakirova, who is a lecturer at the National University of Arts in Kazakhstan, has served in many exhibitions and art projects abroad. Our young talented artists Zhalyn Bauyrkan and Tolkyn Tebysbek are open to different colors and styles while keeping the reality in the foreground. Dinara Nuger is an artist and an art historian."

Dinara Nuger stated that they are pleased to work in a wonderful campus atmosphere with students from all over the world and expressed her gratitude to Dr. Suat İrfan Günsel and university employees.

Ersin Tatar: “I congratulate the Near East University for its breakthroughs to Turkish Cypriot history..."
Ersin Tatar, the President of the National Unity Party, also expressed his happiness to be present at an artistic event at the Near East University and said "We have been meeting with our relatives from Central Asia through these activities. The main ancestors of the Turkish Cypriots came from the Central Asia, and Kazakhs, Azeris, Kirghiz and Turkmens are always relatives. This kind of an event reflecting the roots of our history in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the fusion of cultures in the exhibitions is strengthening the bonds between us through a civilized behavior. Therefore, this policy and investment of the Near East University has made us very happy. I would like to express my gratitude to the artists of Kazakhstan."

Ersin Tatar said that all the works will be stored in the archives and find their values in history and in future.

Exhibition ribbon was cut...
After the speeches, the National Unity Party President Ersin Tatar presented a plaque of appreciation to the artists from Kazakhstan and cut the ribbon. The "Kazakhstan Artists Painting Exhibition" will be open to visitors from 08:00 to 16:00 until 13 May 2019 at the Faculty of Medicine Exhibition Hall.
