Near East University and Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University signed an academic cooperation protocol.

Near East University, which continues to strengthen its international cooperation network, signed an academic cooperation protocol with Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University. Within the scope of the protocol, student and faculty member exchange programs, joint research projects and joint scientific activities will be carried out. The cooperation protocol, which also aims to increase cultural and social interaction, entered into force with the signatures of Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz.

The signing ceremony hosted by Near East University was also attended by Near East University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Umut Aksoy and Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Efdal Özkul. Following the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz made statements regarding the protocol.

It will add strength to both universities!

Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, drawing attention to the importance of interuniversity collaborations in an age where science and technology know no boundaries, said, “This protocol we signed with Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University will bring us a strong synergy in many areas such as joint academic projects and student and faculty exchange.” Stating that the students of both universities coming together with scientific thought on common ground will have vast opportunities to be better equipped to prepare for the future, Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ said, “With this collaboration, not only the two universities but also the scientific potential of the two countries will add value to each other.” Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University President Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz expressed his belief that the protocol will contribute to quality and efficiency in higher education and emphasized that the protocol will carry the vision of both universities even further.
