Internship and recruitment opportunities for OSTIM Technical University students from GÜNSEL

GÜNSEL, the domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, will offer internship and recruitment opportunities to OSTIM Technical University Vocational School students.

A cooperation protocol was signed between GÜNSEL, the domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and OSTIM Technical University, which is located in Ankara OSTIM, one of the most important industrial regions of Turkey. With the protocol signed by GÜNSEL Chairman of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel and OSTIM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek, the doors of GÜNSEL were opened to the students of OSTIM Technical University Vocational School.
Within the scope of the signed protocol; especially the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technology division; OSTİM Technical University Vocational School students, who are studying in many departments such as Computer Programming, Information Security and Technology, Electricity, Electronic Technology, E-Commerce and Marketing, Logistics, Machinery, Mechatronics, will have the opportunity to train and to be recruited at GÜNSEL.

Developed on the Near East University campus, GÜNSEL, the electric car of the Mediterranean, already provides internship and employment guarantee to students who graduated from engineering and vocational schools of Near East University, where it was born.

Reminding that GÜNSEL is one of the youngest manufacturers in the world automotive industry, Near East University Board of Trustees and GÜNSEL Chairman of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “The average age of my colleagues who contributed to the development and production stages of our GÜNSEL is 28, which has always been one of the biggest sources of pride. Because GÜNSEL will appear on the roads of the world as a car that draws its energy from young people and has been developed by young people.”

Stating that, within the scope of the protocol signed with OSTIM Technical University, OSTIM Technical University Vocational School students will have the opportunity to do internship and to be employed at GÜNSEL, Prof. Dr. İrfan Suat Günsel said, “The doors of our GÜNSEL are wide open to our youth in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and our homeland Turkey. We will continue to make similar collaborations with our universities in Turkey”.


Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek: “Our students will have the chance to experience the technologies of the future at GÜNSEL.”
Emphasizing that they act with the vision of an industrial university, OSTIM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek said, “Our students have internship opportunities in many institutions, especially in the defense industry. Some of them start their working life in companies where they do internships. With this meaningful protocol we signed, we are very happy that our students have the opportunity to train and be employed at GÜNSEL, the domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.”

Reminding that electric car production is a very important field that will shape the future, Prof. Dr. Yülek said, “Our students studying in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technology, Computer Programming, Information Security and Technology, Electricity, Electronics Technology, E-Commerce and Marketing, Logistics, Machinery and Mechatronics will have the chance to experience the technologies of the future at GÜNSEL.”
