III. Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress was hosted by Near East University

Hosted by Near East University, the “III. Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress” was held with wide participation. Organized to create a platform where ideas and experiences are shared to offer solutions by addressing current problems, the main title of the III. International Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress this year was “Covid 19 and the Pandemic Process”.

The congress, which was planned to be held face-to-face at Near East University in Nicosia, was held online due to pandemic conditions. In addition to the papers prepared within the framework of the main title of “Covid 19 and the Pandemic Process”, many scientific papers were presented in the fields of social sciences, natural sciences, health sciences and educational sciences.

75 papers, 30 of which were in the field of medicine, were presented at the congress

The III. Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress where 11 different sessions were held, hosted presentations of the scientific studies of 105 scientists in the fields of health, medicine, social sciences and natural sciences. In the congress where 147 papers were sent, 75 papers were presented.

Taking part in the organizing committee on behalf of Near East University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap said that they were pleased to host such a successful congress in which many subjects were discussed in a very broad framework, with the opportunity to participate from different disciplines. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kasap stated that they will continue to contribute to the Mediterranean Scientific Research Congress, to which 20 faculty members from Near East University participated this year.
