Two individual painting exhibitions consisting of works by Alexey Utkin and Asgat Dinikeyev, which will be hosted by the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts, will meet with art lovers on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at the exhibition hall of the Near East University Faculty of Medicine.

According to the information given by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of Near East University, the exhibition "Cyprus Landscape and Varieties" consisting of 20 artworks of artist Alexey Utkin, who has participated in many national and international exhibitions, and the exhibition titled "Poetry of Time" consisting of 20 artworks of artist Asgat Dikineyev will be opened at 09:30 at the Faculty of Medicine exhibition hall.

Who is Alexey Utkin?
Born in Russia in 1949, the artist graduated from the No. 1 Boarding school in Almaty, where hearing-impaired children are educated, in 1969, and then from the Kazakh National Academy of Art in 1985. Since 1999, he has been a member of the Artists Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He participated in many national and international exhibitions. Some of those;
1989- Received the certificate of participation for participating in "RIVIERA DEL CONERO" International Cartoon Art Exhibition, Italy. 2000- International art exhibition of hearing-impaired artists, Rome, Italy.
2002- International Art Festival "God Umay 2002", Almaty; International Arts Festival “Hearing-Impaired's Path-2”, USA, Washington.
2010- “Exploring Astana”, solo graphic art exhibition, Kulanshi Modern Art Center.
2013- International art exhibition of hearing-impaired artists "The world heard by the soul", St. Petersburg, Russia.
2016- Solo art exhibition “My love Almaty” held on the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at A. Kasteyev State Art Museum, Almaty.
2019- Medal of contribution to fine arts, Artists Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty. Nominated for the Eurasia International Award for the uniqueness and sincerity of the painting.

Who is Asgat Dinikeyev?
He was born in 1942 in the Republic of Bashkortostan. He graduated from the painting department of Ufa Art College in 1968. He participated in many regional, national and international art exhibitions. He is a member of the Artists Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He received the title of State Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan. He is a member of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
