
Applications continue for the “World Water Day Poster Competition” organized by the Near East University Faculty of Communication within the scope of World Water Day on March 22. The inter-high school competition, which will be held with the theme of “The Value of Water and Our Future”, aims to raise awareness among young people about the importance of water and to convey this awareness to society through creative designs.
Winners will be rewarded!
In the competition, where participants will prepare poster designs in A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) size, winners will be rewarded. Among the works to be evaluated by the jury, the first place award will be 7000 TL, the second place award will be 5000 TL and the third place award will be 3000 TL.
The last application date is Friday, March 12!
Students who wish to participate in the competition can apply through the Near East University Faculty of Communication Dean’s Office and Visual Communication Design Department Head Office until Wednesday, March 12. The winners will be announced within the scope of World Water Day events on Friday, March 21.

Dean of the Faculty of Communications of the Near East University, Prof. Dr. Fevzi Kasap, emphasized that water is one of the most fundamental elements for the continuity of life and stated that it is of great importance for young people to produce creative works upon this awareness. “Concerns about the decrease in water resources and access to clean water are increasing worldwide. This competition offers an important opportunity for high school students to use their artistic talents to raise awareness about the value of water,” said Prof. Dr. Kasap, adding, “We invite all high school students to this organization we organized to increase our youth’s sensitivity to environmental issues and inspire society.”
