Great Success by Northern Cyprus Association of Dentistry Students

Three students took part in International Association of Dental Students (IADS)
Three students who are members of the Northern Cyprus Association of Dentistry Students became members of the International Association of Dental Students, which is a non-governmental organisation founded in order to serve the educational needs of dental students throughout the world.

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of Near East University, as a result of evaluations and interviews held, three students who met all the required criteria were chosen to join the International Association of Dental Students and these students are expressed to be İsmet Ersalıcı, Ece Of Gönüllü and Jana Alalami.

Proving further details, it was stated that members of the Head of the Northern Cyprus Association of Dentistry Students İsmet Ersalıcı was chosen as Chair of IADS Middle East Internship Exchange Program, Ece Of Gönüllü as Office Delegate and Jana Alami as the Proof-reader in the Score section of the Editor Team Delegate.

Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ: “We congratulate our students who have been chosen as members of the IADS”
Making a statement regarding the matter, Vice Rector of the Near East University, Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ, stated that students of the Association of Dentistry Students had gained full membership to the International Association of Dental Students (IADS) and that they were now representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. He added that the aforementioned three students were appointed positions and responsibilities at the IADS and that this made the NEU very proud!

Prof. Dr. Şanlıdağ expressed this incident as a ‘great success’ and said that Northern Cyprus Association of Dentistry Students aims to give students a different vision in education and learning.

He said: “Our Association has established an active line for student exchange programs, and for exchange program students it offers internship opportunities at the Near East University Faculty of Dentistry. Now that three of our students have become full members of the IADS, further strengthened students’ ties in the international arena. We congratulate our students and wish them success in their new tasks.”

Wished Students Success in Their New Positions
FDean of Students’ Office of Near East University Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dudu Özkum Yavuz emphasised that until now, Northern Cyprus Association of Dentistry Students had achieved many successes and that she strongly believed that this association was to continue making significant accomplishments. She congratulated the students who became full members of the IADS and wished them success.
