Graduates of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Near East University threw their caps off with great enthusiasm.

Graduates of the Near East University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, who successfully completed their programs, threw their caps off at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center with great enthusiasm.

The ceremony, in which 100 students received their diplomas, started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. After the violin concert given by the violinist Nina Koçubey, the opening speeches were delivered. The opening speeches were delivered by Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and Near East University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Şerife Eyüpoğlu. On behalf of the international graduate students, the top graduate of the faculty, Abdullah Ahmed Rais Alkatheri, expressed his feelings, and Arif Yılmabaşar expressed his feelings on behalf of the Turkish graduates.


Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ: “You will set new goals throughout your life and continue to take new steps.”
Stating that every end is a new beginning and that lifelong learning and development will continue, Near East University Rector Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ said, “After an academic career of 30 years, today I am experiencing a first with you. This year, for the first time, I am speaking with the title of rector at a graduation ceremony. As you see, life brings new firsts to people at every stage. You too, will set new goals throughout your life and continue to take new steps.”

Stating that passion and determination will bring success, Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ also advised all graduates to communicate effectively. Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ said, “Communication skills are one of the cornerstones of a successful career. The ability to empathize, the effort to understand others, and the ability to communicate openly provide you with leadership qualifications.


Prof. Dr. Şerife Eyüpoğlu: “We will always continue to be by your side.”
Near East University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Şerife Eyüpoğlu started her speech by saying; “Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences aims to raise graduates who can meet the needs of both national and world markets with its young and dynamic lecturers and constantly updated curriculum.”

Addressing the graduate students, Prof. Dr. Şerife Eyüpoğlu said, “Each of you here today is a talented and valuable individual. I would like to thank each and every one of you for everything you have contributed to our university and our faculty during your time at our faculty. Remember that today is not an end, but a day of many beginnings.

Stating that as Near East University, they will always be with the graduates, Prof. Dr. Şerife Eyüpoğlu said, “Maybe you will face many difficulties, but I have no doubt that you will represent our faculty in the best places and in the best way. We will always continue to be with you.”


Abdullah Ahmed Rais Alkatheri: “I could not have achieved this success without your support.”
Abdullah Ahmed Rais Alkatheri, who said that he was proud to make a graduation speech as the valedictorian graduate of the faculty, said, “We share the happiness of graduating together today after a tough education process.” Thanking his teachers, family and friends who have always supported him throughout his university life, Alkatheri said, “I could not have achieved this success without your support.”

Emphasizing that they are ready for a new future together with all of his graduate friends, Abdullah Ahmed Rais Alkatheri, especially promised his mother and father that he would continue to work and succeed in order to be successful.


Arif Yılmabaşar: “I believe that we can overcome any difficulty by working and persevering.”
Arif Yılmabaşar, who said, “We are experiencing the joy of successfully completing the path we started four years ago, today.”, also emphasized that they have had very nice memories throughout their education life.

Arif Yılmabaşar, who said that they felt lucky to be educated at Near East University, emphasized that they made great friendships besides the quality education they received. “I believe that we can overcome any difficulty by working and persevering. I wish success to all my graduate friends in their new lives.”
