Four solo painting exhibitions consisting of 141 artworks of Kazakh artists Andrey Orazbayev, Galymzhan Suyunov, Turar Tulayev and Sultan Amanzhol, exclusively made for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts and a group painting exhibition consisting of 25 artworks of Kazakh artists Gania Chagataeva, Meldekhan Kassymbek, Nurlan Shilibaev, Sadir Kairbay and Renlan Yelubaev was opened by the Minister of Public Works and Transportation Tolga Atakan.

According to the information provided by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations of the Near East University, Andrey Orazbayev solo exhibition consisting of 90 works was opened at the Near East University Hospital Exhibition Hall on October 15, 2019 Tuesday at 08.00, and Galymzhan Suyunov, Turar Tulayev, and Sultan Amanzhol 's solo and group painting exhibitions were opened at 08.45 at the Faculty of Communication Exhibition Hall.

At the opening of the exhibitions, Vice Rector of Near East University Prof.Dr. Tamer Sanlidag, Kazakh artists Andrey Orazbayev, Galymzhan suyunov, Turan Aliyev, SultanAmanzhol, and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Tolga Atakan made speeches.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, we launched “+60 Age Refreshing University için for individuals over 60 years of age.
Vice Rector Tamer Şanlıdağ in his opening remarks said; 'Near East University, which has been advancing towards becoming a global information center since its establishment, is a university competing with world universities and aiming to become one of the top 500 universities in the world and uses its energy and experience to contribute to social, psychological and cultural development at national and international level." Stating that for the last 40 years, when education, science, health, innovation, and art are mentioned about, Near East University comes to mind first, Şanlıdağ said in line with the foundational strategy of Near East University and Kyrenia University to offer educational opportunities for the individuals aging between 2-102, in 2018-2019 academic year, we launched “+60 Age Refreshing University için for individuals over 60 years of age."

In June, Özay Günsel Children's University, Cyprus' first and only Children's University, started its education life. Özay Günsel Children's University is a brand new and unique model offering comprehensive education opportunities with its laboratories, research centers, museums, art workshops, and our children are getting hands-on training with academicians and artists, and they are preparing for the future in the best way.‘’

A first in the TRNC...
Vice Rector Şanlıdağ added, "We have sent 2 students from the Faculty of Nursing to Lithuania within the scope of Erasmus Program, and this semester we will send 1 student from the Faculty of Medicine. Within the scope of this program, we hosted 7 students from different countries in the summer term. 61 students from 22 countries are already studying on our campus, thanks to these exchange programs." Şanlıdağ continued his speech by mentioning the R & D and innovation studies in education, health, science and art; "As a result of the bilateral cooperation protocols we have made, the same number of Near Eastern students participate in exchange programs in the universities of those countries. In addition to this, we have made a first in the TRNC this year and sent 2 students from the Faculty of Nursing to Lithuania within the scope of Erasmus Program, and this semester we will send one student from the Faculty of Medicine. Within the scope of this program, we hosted 7 students from different countries in the summer term."

Professor Şanlıdağ; “With 5 hospitals, we provide world-class health service to our society“
We serve in accordance with the single health concept without distinction between human, environment and animal health. Near East University Hospital, Dentistry Hospital, Animal Hospital and Kyrenia University Dr. Suat Günsel Hospital with its Dental Hospital are providing world-class health services to our society.

Prof. Şanlıdağ; "The number of publications in journals scanned by international indexes was 1215 and 292 in national indexes, in total 1507."
Şanlıdağ said "With 20 Faculties, 6 Institutes, 33 Research and Application Centers, 104 Research and Application Laboratories, we are a “Science Producing Campus”. In the last three years, 380 research projects have been accepted by the BAP, supported by our own resources and 120 of these have been completed. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the number of publications published in the journals scanned by international indexes was 1215 and 292 in national indexes. The studies of our researchers are at the international standards not only in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality. The best example of this is that in 2018, our researchers returned with 14 best research awards from 11 international congresses."

Prof. Şanlıdağ; "As Near East University and TRNC, we have started our studies to be included in CERN Project
Şanlıdağ added, "In the last academic term, the number of scientific meetings organized by our academicians was 665, while the number of scientific activities they participated in was 1773. We are strengthening our academic staff day by day. Currently, we are progressing to a common goal with more than 1000 academicians, 2 of whom are Nobel laureates, 7 of whom are among 100 Turkish scientists who are leading science, and 3 of whom are the research group leaders in the CERN project. We have started our studies to participate in the CERN project, one of the most important projects in the world. As Near East University and TRNC, we aim to participate in the project within two years by establishing a research group. In this context, we initiate the process by sending a doctoral student to CERN by the following days."

"We are bringing together the Turkic Republics and Relative Communities as well as Turkey in Cyprus with an Art Bridge."
"We are bringing together the Turkic Republics, all relative communities and Turkey in Cyprus with an ART BRIDGE, which is the most important factor in establishing civilizations and taking roots of cultures. Within the scope of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art Project, over 100 workshops have been held on campus and 149 exhibitions have been opened in the last 10 months. Currently, 9 exhibitions on campus are meeting art lovers. To date, hundreds of artists have created nearly 15,000 works for the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts. The target is 20,000 works. Today, we are in this room together for the solo exhibition consisting of 90 works of Kazakh artist Andrey Orazbayev. This is the 154th exhibition. I would like to express our gratitude to our artists on behalf of our university. And for 40 years, the Günsel family has been making all of their investments in this country. Those looking for a success story should look at Near East. I have no doubt that they will see real patriots there. We are on a long and arduous journey, this journey continues with the belief, effort, support and guidance of each member of Günsel family. ’’

Kazakh artist Andrey Orazbayev in his speech; “Dear guests and friends, I respectfully greet all of you and welcome you to our exhibition. I am honored to participate in the project of Cyprus Museum of Modern Art. The unification of the Turkish world is a very important and noble duty. I am grateful to Founding Rector Dr. Suat Günsel for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this glorious project. I am very grateful to all those who provide comfortable working conditions, support and care. I wish success, prosperity and good luck with all my heart. ”

Nurlan Shilibayev; “The conditions that Suat Hoca presented to us are very good”
Nurlan Shilibayev, speaking on behalf of the Kazakh artists, said "I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my work, including Suat Günsel Hoca. The conditions provided to us by Suat Hoca within the scope of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts project are so good that I would like to thank you again and wish all my friends who participated in this project every success."

Sultan Amanzhol; "I am extremely happy to be present at an exhibition held at the international level with the participation of Turkish Folk Artists"
Sultan Amanzhol, whose solo exhibition was opened, said "I am very happy to be present at an international exhibition held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and attended by Turkish folk artists. I would like to thank Founding Rector Suat Günsel and all those who contributed to this project. I congratulate my colleagues who participated in the project and thank them for their efforts.

Turar Tulayev; "We would like to thank Suat Hoca for providing us with a place among the founders of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts”
Kazakh artist Turar Tulayev concluded his speech by saying, "I would like to thank you for your warm welcome and interest on behalf of all my fellow artists who contributed to the project, especially Suat Hoca, who invited us to take part among the founders of the Cyprus Museum of Modern Arts project."

Galymzhan Suyunov; “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is a Great Country”
Kazakh artist Galymzhan Suyunovistan said "The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is a wonderful country. I admired the green nature of the island of Cyprus. Thank you for your warm welcome, hospitality and friendship.”

Minister of Public Works and Transportation Tolga Atakan ‘’I am proud seeing the works inspired by this land and what I see here ’’
The Minister of Public Works and Transport made a short speech and stated that a bridge between cultures and arts was established by means of art and science, and that all the works that emerged through this bridge were made here were gains inspired by this land. Minister Atakan added that he is proud of what he has seen and that the university has come a long way in sports, culture, art, and science. Minister Atakan concluded his speech by thanking those who made new initiatives in these and similar fields and those who have contributed to these initiatives, especially to the founding Rector Suat Günsel and everyone else who contributed.

Uluğ Beğ, Dogdurbek Nurgaziev and Silver Key Honor Awards were presented to the Kazakh artists and the exhibition ribbons were cut...
Following the speeches, Tolga Atakan, the Minister of Public Works and Transportation, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. İrfan Günsel presented the Silver Key Honor Award to Andrey Orazbayev, and the International Painting Masters Uluğ Beğ Award to Artist Galymzhan Suyuno, the Silver Key Honor Award to Turar Tulayev. Sultan Amanzhol was presented with DOGDURBEK NURGAZIEV AWARD given in memory of the Kyrgyzstan State Artist Dogdurbek Nurgaziev within the scope of Alasia Awards to promote the works of young artists. Certificates of appreciation were given to Kazakh artists Nurlan Shilibayev, Ganiya Chagatayeva, Meldekhan Kassymbek, Sadir Karibay, and Renat Yelubayev. The exhibitions in the Near East University Hospital Exhibition Halls and the Faculty of Communication Exhibition Hall can be visited between 08.00-16.00 on weekdays until 25 October 2019.
