Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, who applied to the Near East University Hospital emergency service with complaints of weakness, cough, weakness in the knees and fainting. The first checks were carried out by emergency specialist Dr. Berkay Mevlanaoğlu, was found to be neurologically healthy by Near East University Hospital Neurology Specialist Dr. Neslihan Behrem Gayır and was referred to the Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology service.
Findings were detected in the lower lobe of the left lung of Minister of Foreign Affairs Ertuğruloğlu, who was examined by the team led by Kaya Süer, and he was diagnosed with pneumonia, which is known as pneumonia among the people.

Regarding the health status of Minister Ertuğruloğlu, whose treatment was started, Near East University Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Müfit Cemal Yenen made a statement.

Prof. Dr. Müfit Cemal Yenen: “Mr. Ertuğruloğlu’s treatment in our hospital will last for three days.”
Stating that the treatment of Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu was started without delay, Near East University Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Müfit Cemal Yenen stated that they expected the treatment of Minister Ertuğruloğlu at the hospital to last three days. Prof. Dr. Yenen said, “After three days of treatment, the treatment of our Honorable Minister, whom we are planning to discharge, will continue at home afterwards.”
