TUYAP International Art Fair provides platform for many artists to showcase their unique antiques and works of art. This year the 26th International Art Fair (ARTIST 2016) will be open from November 12 to November 20, 2016 at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center in Beylikdüzü-Istanbul. Fatma Miralay, the Chairperson of the Department of Art Teaching of Atatürk Faculty of Education of the Near East University, will participate in the 26th International Istanbul Art Fair (Artist 2016) and represent Turkish Cypriot art.

According to the press info released by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of NEU, ARTIST 2016 will host approximately 150 young artists as well as galleries, art initiatives, universities, institutions and establishments. The 26th International Istanbul Art Fair/ARTIST 2016 is a spectacular event that showcases antiques, handicrafts and art works for the interest of art enthusiast and art dealers. In coordination with TRNC National Education and Culture Office, Fatma Miralay, the Chairperson of the Department of Art Teaching of Atatürk Faculty of Education of the Near East University, will showcase the ‘Maraş/Ammochotos’ that comprises her 2016 art works and represent Turkish Cypriot art at the fair.
