Faculty members of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University participated in the International Paper Works Group Exhibition '50' held in Japan.

According to the press release from the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University, the International Paper Works Group Exhibition was held in Design Festa Gallery in Tokyo, Japan and participated by many artists from TRNC, Turkey and all around the world.

Prof. Dr. Erdal Aygenç, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdogan Ergün, Dr. Yücel Yazgın, Dr. Gökhan Okur, Dr. Mine Okur, Dr. Elif Atamaz Daut, Inst. Raif Kızıl, Inst. Vedia Okutan Gaydeler, Inst. Evrim Ergün, and PhD student Tamer Ekendal from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Near East University participated in the exhibition that sponsored by Pinelo Art Gallery and UNESCO Club.

Pinelo Art Gallery, which has been supporting the Turkish and Greek contemporary artists since 1996, has attracted the attention of art lovers not only with its domestic and international art events and artistic organizations but also with the broad possibilities that it provides for the painters, sculptors and photographers.

The gallery moved to its new building in Harbiye in 2016 and since then, it has initiated symposium activities abroad under the brand MadeBYArtist. In 2017, it carried out exhibitions, art fairs, festivals and symposiums in many countries, mainly in Greece and the United States of America.
